Dr. Balfanz’s Presents at Queer Talks

With Dr. Balfanz’s therapeutic work with children and young adults in the Shanghai community, he has recognized a growing need for more resources and support for the young people that identify as LGBTQ. He discussed the struggles that many teens face with identity, understanding, and acceptance, and how that is magnified in LGBTQ youth. He will also spoke about the important roles that family and community play in supporting young people, specifically those who struggle with questions regarding their sexual orientation or gender identity.
