Julia Huang

Ms. Huang graduated with honor from Fuller Graduate Schools, awarded Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy. She is a bilingual therapists currently working in China with California Board of Behavior Science certified marriage and family therapy license. She was trained and supervised by the founder of Emotion Focused Therapy, Dr. Leslie Greenberg. Ms. Huang is now listed on the official website of The International Society of Emotion Focused Therapy as a certified EFT therapist.

Julia is experienced in working with individuals, couples and families dealing with mood problems (depression, anxiety, adjustment issues etc.). For couples, she is specialized in helping with communication, conflict resolution and chronic emotional issues. She has the language and culture advantage to work with cross-culture marriages, accumulated years of experience in helping couples to build their own culture despite which country they are originally from.

Ms. Huang is a dedicated advocator of mental health education. She has translated many articles and published English psychology literature including Crazy like US and A Peaceable Psychology into Chinese.

She is frequently invited by companies, schools and media for public speech and workshops.
