Many people begin therapy with a sense that something in their relationships or emotional life feels difficult to understand or change. You may notice recurring patterns, feel unsure how to express your needs, or find yourself pulled between caring for others and staying connected to yourself.

My approach is relational and emotionally focused, grounded in the idea that these patterns often develop for good reasons—even if they no longer serve you in the same way. In our work together, we slow things down to better understand these patterns and begin creating more flexible, authentic ways of relating.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my experience living and working abroad informs how I understand relationships, identity, and belonging. In sessions, I use an emotionally focused approach to help clients access and understand underlying emotional experiences, with the goal of shifting longstanding relational patterns and supporting more secure ways of relating. I often work with individuals navigating relationship stress, emotional over-responsibility, family-of-origin dynamics, and experiences of rupture or loss. I especially value supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those who find themselves giving more than they receive in relationships. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded in themselves while building relationships that feel more mutual, flexible, and sustainable.
